Choose your preferred installer to get started with e-light on Windows:

• NSIS installer  (suggested)
• MSI installer 

Drivers

To fully utilize e-light‘s capabilities, some features may require additional drivers, especially for camera support. Below is a curated list of drivers for the most common camera models:

Cameras

Ensure optimal compatibility with e-light by installing the necessary drivers for your camera:

• libusb: required for generic GenICam compliant USB cameras, remember to add the bin folder to your PATH!
• MVS SDK Windows Runtime package (4.x): required for HIKVision cameras, opt for the Runtime package version to minimize system footprint
• IDS drivers : required for IDS cameras, , with a recommendation for the Runtime package
• iCube drivers : required for iCube cameras, find the download link at the bottom of the product page.

For USB GenICam compliant cameras, installing libusb and selecting the “GenICam” option in the camera selection dialog is often sufficient.
